The name "Timbo Slice" is a combination of my passions and interests:

First and foremost, 3D printing. 'Slicing' is the process whereby 3D models are converted into code that that a 3D printer uses to generate the final product one layer, or "slice", at a time.

Secondly, I'm a big MMA fan. Not a practitioner by any means; just a fan. 'Kimbo Slice' was an icon in the sport.
